Agaadh Games is looking for talented Unity developers who combine technical excellence with a deep passion for making games. As a Unity Developer, you’ll join a tightly-knit development team where you’ll contribute to core gameplay systems, tools, and content across a variety of original titles.
You’ll be expected to take ownership of systems, iterate with designers and artists, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in mobile and PC games — all while helping us define the future of immersive experiences from India.
This is a full-time, in-office position at our Ahmedabad game development studio.
Build and iterate on high-quality core gameplay features, combat systems, UI systems, AI behaviors, and in-game interactions using Unity and C#.
Work closely with artists, designers, and technical teams to realize gameplay vision in real-time builds.
Optimize game performance for smooth gameplay across devices and platforms.
Develop tools and pipelines that empower designers, artists, and QA to iterate faster and more efficiently.
Create stable, well-documented, and scalable systems that stand the test of production.
Constantly push for better visuals, tighter gameplay feel, and improved iteration cycles.
Collaborate with design and art teams to implement gameplay features, systems, and mechanics in Unity.
Architect and optimize performance-critical systems for real-time play on mobile and PC.
Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code and assist in reviewing and refactoring code written by others.
Proactively solve bugs, debug gameplay logic, and test performance under varied in-game scenarios.
Extend and improve our proprietary Unity toolsets and game frameworks.
Actively participate in game design conversations to improve user experience and overall polish.
Mentor and guide junior developers when needed.
3+ years of professional experience in Unity development, with at least 1 shipped title or a strong playable portfolio.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in Unity 3D and C#, including experience with physics, input systems, animations, UI, and asset management.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, component-based architecture, and game design patterns.
Ability to architect and develop clean, reusable, and efficient code within Unity.
Solid grasp of math fundamentals including vectors, matrices, linear algebra, and quaternions.
Experience with Unity’s profiling tools, debugging workflows, and memory/performance optimization.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with evolving requirements.
Familiarity with source control systems such as Git or Perforce.
